Staying With Ourselves
One of the most important truths we can awaken to is the power of redirecting our attention from the outer to the inner world. Shifting our awareness from the relative reality of our life’s stories to the absolute reality of the energy beneath, is the work of mastery. It supports us in remembering and consciously choosing to live from the greater truth of our Being.
To truly become masterful, we are called to teach the mind to merge with the greater Truth of who we are. The goal then is not to learn how to respond better to the outer world, but rather to become creative and generative in our thinking, our speech and our actions. This becomes a reflection of living from our truest sense of Self. Only then can we experience true happiness, deep peace and a genuine sense of connection.
Too often we become distracted by the circumstances of life. In these moments if we can reclaim our energy, return to our breath and breathe through the feelings we are experiencing, we STAY WITH OURSELVES. This allows us to find our way through what life is offering as a stepping stone into a deeper, more embodied experience of Self. More often than not, our MO is to step around our experiences in survival mode, sidestepping the intensity of our emotions out of a sense of self-preservation.
Committing to reclaim the energy we so often direct outwardly, creating room to feel what we are feeling without projection and consciously choosing to stay within the felt experience of our bodies- this is mastery and it aligns us with a profoundly empowered and connected experience of ourselves and life.
